About this circle

The Token Economy and Blockchain Eco-System circle creates opportunities for developers and industry collaboration to  identify and spotlight good business practices, such as codes of conduct, standards, security and technology risk management to support the growth of adoption of digital assets and blockchain technologies in a way the promotes a healthy digital economy.

This includes partnering with experienced blockchain engineers and developers and blockchain technology industry leaders in delivering educational panels, Blockathons  as well as public/private sector executive workshops demonstrating the diversity of the industry.

We focus in particular on exploring the technological protocols, insights into new forms of governance, compliance and good business and technology practices for new digital business models. .



Aviv Milner and Victor Hogrefe : Lead Organizers for the circle

Victor studied Philosophy and Computer Science at the University of British Columbia, The University of Washington and Harvard, after which he delved into Bitcoin app development and started a successful cryptocurrency brokerage in Vancouver. He has been trading on the derivatives and cryptocurrency markets since 2012, and manages a private investment club in addition to co-founding and running BlockSpace Solutions Inc. and BlockSpace Digital Asset Management. He is also the co-founder, and head of operations of EOS Vancouver, an EOS block producer.

Aviv studied Mathematics at the University of British Colombia where his passions ranged from microeconomics to political theory. Before being introduced to Blockchain technologies in 2017, his professional experience was focused on education. His talents in public speaking paired well with his knack for breaking down complex topics into simple fragments. He also briefly worked for HoneyBadger, a Bitcoin ATM company, and was a researcher of the Blockchain Intelligence Group. He is the President of BlockSpace Solutions Inc.
